This year’s Xmas bash is more of a pre-drink affair! Landing on the 21st December from 12-6 pm, we’re going ot have a big old knees up. In true Spit & Sawdust style, the hospitality will be flowing, hot dog specials on the menu, an eclectic vinyl DJ set by Martin Carr, Christmas cocktails, mulled wine & cider. We’ve even got a big Christmas raffle so skaters & non-skaters get a chance at the prizes! Dust off your Xmas party attire, throw on a terrible jumper & come on over, everyone’s invited!

WORKSHOP: INTRO TO SCREEN PRINTING - XMAS CARD EDITION

Excited to have Shaun from Things in the Studio with us on 29th November to run an afternoon introduction to screenprinting course in our workshop space.

Get into the festive spirit and create your own set of hand-printed Christmas cards in this relaxed, hands-on workshop. You’ll be guided through the process of designing and screen printing your own one-colour Christmas cards. Working with hand-drawn artwork using a range of specialist mark-making materials and techniques, you’ll create a unique festive design ready to expose onto a screen and print yourself.

Each participant will print and take home a set of 20, white, 5”x5” Christmas cards (with envelopes), featuring their own Christmas-themed artwork.
All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary. 
The workshop runs for 4 hours on a Saturday, 13th December, 1-5 pm
Price: £65 | 6 spaces available
For ages 18+
The workshop space is fully wheelchair accessible.

ired of tasteful or tacky Christmas wreaths? Make your own out there kitsch offering in a three-hour workshop and let your imagination run rampant, with materials, guidance and ideas from our wonderful gardener Emma Geliot.

All materials and equipment provided, but feel free to bring your own elements (now’s the moment to collect up all those random shiny things you’ve been hoarding in the Drawer of Doom).

There’ll be refreshments to keep you going, included in the ticket price.

If you were a kid in the nineties you may have been witness to this TV first! Probably the most terrifying night of your life to date and a Halloween that secured your life long fondness for the spooky season, and a life long fear of plumbing.

A British mockumentary supernatural horror television film, first broadcast on BBC1 on Halloween night, 1992. Written by Stephen Volk, and directed by Lesley Manning, the drama was produced for the BBC anthology series Screen One by Richard Broke, Ruth Baumgarten and Derek Nelson.

We are looking for masters of the dark arts. If you’re a creator, maker, potion master, poison plant grower, merch peddler, then get in touch. As long as you’re an independent and your offerings tie in with the alt universe then we would love to hear from you. This ones a popular one, so only applications from makers that fit the brief can be considered!
