Anyone who’s spent more than 5 minutes in Spit has likely heard us mention Bacareto! Our lovely new sister organisation opened on Church Street in the city centre in 2021, in a building also housing the new Cardiff Skateboard Club shop. Bacareto is a Venetian inspired cafe bar, a place to go for a quick spritz and snack, or somewhere you are very welcome to while away a long afternoon/evening grazing and drinking in a relaxed and friendly space.
They are a social enterprise too, just like us. We are always thinking of ways to work together and link up more - so have decided to make a joint Newsletter to let all our customers know about the various goings on in both venues.
Every 6 weeks or so, we’ll send you the latest on all our in house events, happenings, classes, specials and deals. You can also keep up to date with the work of our team, and community, from exhibitions to tastings, and supper clubs they are hosting around the city.
A firm favourite in the Spit Calendar is the annual UK Vert Series. This year it lands on the August bank holiday weekend - scribble it in your diaries. Warm up sessions on the Saturday 27th, with the battles commencing on Sunday 28th. It’s going to be a weekend not to miss. Marvel at some vert wizardry with a cold beer in hand, tasty scran and some guaranteed great vibes,
