hangover lounge

Hangover Lounge happened monthly in the Spit & Sawdust cafe, organised by Sam Hasler and Becca Thomas. It offered gently curated events such as cafe gigs, exhibitions, artist book events and craft afternoons. It recreated the Venice Biennale in the car park with a blow up paddling pool and a roughly carved rat on the pizza shack.

It always offered the cheapest Bloody Marys in town, and a place to recover from Saturday night and get ready for the week ahead.

Event poster for Hangover Lounge on October 5th from 12 PM to 6 PM with art and music throughout the day, featuring performances by Wesley Matsell and Steve Metcalfe in an artspace, skatepark, and cafe. The event includes electro and baroque music competitions, with activities such as Mike Tooby's store from noon, a tap shoe workshop, relaxation, and reading of Sunday papers.
